Starting is 2002, Brett and Holly Barnhart started the remodel of the Barnhart Family Farm House. While this is the most recent remodel of the house, it certainly isn't the first and I hope it's not the last. Since this has taken a couple of years of time, we thought we should dedicate some effort in documenting the changes that have happened and the general life of the house.

2003-2005 remodel timeline

I'll fill this in more later, but this is where I'll list the time line for the most current events.

2003	Remodel starts in the kitchen. A softspot in the floor in front of the sink gives us the idea of remodeling the kitchen. We had no idea the depth of the project at this point. We got the cabinates ripped out in the kitchen and part of the floor.
March 2004	Decided to combine the kitchen and dining room into a new kitchen. Ripped out the drywall and panelling from these two rooms and removed the wall. Ripped up some of the flooring.
April 2004	Hired CBE construction to put in a support beam to replace the wall between the kitchen and dining room. Finished ripping up the floor.

Floor Plans

Some of the earlier floor plans are a guess, based on interviews with people who remember the house at the period, clues left in the contruction of the original house discovered during the 2004-2005 remodel, and earlier photographs.
